Initiated by Dr. Harald Begusch of the Höhere Graphische Bundes-Lehr- und Versuchsanstalt, the EC Education bundles the interests of institutions of secondary education across Austria.

Project goals

• Concerted action within ‘ARGE Design’ among institutions of higher secondary education (HTLs) in the disciplines of design, media, and the visual arts
• Providing orientation as to the specific services and professional chances for HTL graduates
• Visibility through the presentation of outstanding final projects
• Platform initiatives to facilitate the exchange of information amongst students, graduates, teachers, and business clients
• Promote digital creativity and the formation of networks through exchange and life-long learning in times of hyperliteracy (reading – writing – programming)
• Initiating design competitions and symposiums on topical subjects
