The Joseph Binder Award is an international competition and showroom with a focus on graphic design and illustration and was first launched in 1996 by designaustria, the interest organization and knowledge centre for design in Austria. It is named after one of the most outstanding graphic designers and illustrators active in Austria, who subsequently also revolutionized visual communication in the United States. We invite graphic designers, illustrators, advertising agencies and students from all over the world to enter their works realized in 2022 and after by 22nd September (early bird) or 31st October 2024 across 15 diverse categories.

The award ceremony will take place on March 27, 2025, followed by the Joseph Binder Symposium and the exhibition opening on March 28, 2025. This time, the #JBA2024 will adopt a new festival format, aiming to strengthen connections within the international graphic design and illustration community.
