Join us in celebrating the design intelligence that improves our lives in an innovative way — to lead us towards a better future. The exhibition will show the user-benefits of the various designs, the »making-of«, the key to understanding the industry, and an AI-based interaction tool to explore future capacities and opportunities. The exhibition will showcase a selection of outstanding works by honorees as well as the Austrian prize winners.
The Design Intelligence Award (DIA) is the first international academic award in industrial design established in 2015 by the highly respected China Academy of Art, created to celebrate innovators and entrepreneurs’ imagination and inventiveness. Design Intelligence focuses on »livelihood, industry, future«. It is also about having a clear people-centred approach, emphasizing human-machine interaction and deep learning to achieve multidimensional social and economic success through cultural and technological innovation. It is a design collaboration activity which integrates human social networks with top-level design strategies. The Exhibition will showcase a selection of outstanding works by honorees as well as the Austrian prize winners.
Ruben Asuo is one of the young talents that are serious about making others’ lives better. He is well aware of the big differences between the green Austrian football fields with their artificial grass and the rough gravel pitches in Ghana. His football shoes Gravel are suitable for the rough conditions of Ghanaian football pitches and are sustainable including cultural and technological innovation. They use local natural materials for the changeable sole and highlight the continuous use of the other parts that do now wear off so fast.
